TEG New York, together with the Avivi Developing & Construction, won the PHP 1025 Kiryat Ata North tender for two plots and construction of 562 units.
The plots sold in the tender are part of the ‘Kiryat Ata North’ program, which covers about 6,372,000sqm to the north of Kiryat Ata and east of Kiryat Bialik. The entire new neighborhood will contain roughly 10,952 units in a diverse mix, besides 1,400 secure housing units for the elderly, alongside commercial areas, offices, public institutions, a regional hospital with approximately 2,200 beds, an institution of higher education, a large regional park and open public areas. The plan also calls for road infrastructure, an electric light rail line, the Haifa-Nazareth line, metro lines and an additional commercial and business complex.
To create a high-quality harmonized look, the neighborhood’s residential buildings will be designed with matching facades up to 7 stories high. There will also be 18-story residential towers with great scenic views, areas for mixed residential, commercial and business use and a complex designed for preservation that includes buildings and picturesque sites. Besides residential units, about 233,000sqm are allocated for commerce, about 616,000sqm for business use, about 1,458,000sqm of road infrastructure and about 1,684,000sqm of open space.
